Birmingham - Star City - Pompey Ranger Review

There is free parking at this large leisure complex north of Birmingham close to the M6 with a cinema, Harvester, McDonalds, and other activities.

This store is just off the entrance pathway and has some outside seating along this, but the main entrance is from the interior of the centre. The décor isn't anything special and felt a bit bland and beige but there is a good chandelier in the middle of the store.

We were seated straight away and went up to order straight away but then had a 27 minute wait for our food to come out. My chicken breast had its wing tip burnt and it was missing its skin, I felt it was probably pulled off either as they burnt my chicken or more likely they put the wrong heat sauce on top as it was very hot, more than it should have been for a medium. I can cope with the heat but wasn't that impressed. They came and did secondary selling trying to sell us more sides but they didn't actually ask if everything was ok, nor did they offer desserts at the end or say good bye. The toilets also looked like they had had a flooding issue on the floor as was very wet. My friend liked their hot winds and rice but I wouldn't really come back to this store.
