Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

We were kept waiting by the door when we arrived for 6 mins before someone came to see if we wanted a table. The restaurant seemed noisy – it is quite echoey which doesn’t help. There were quite a few wasps and flies buzzing around. There were no paper towels at the hand-wash sink.

There is no sign pointing to the disabled loo, and there is a table and four chairs set up in front of its door which had to be moved out of the way by staff members to allow access. The table and chairs were put back straight afterwards. There were a number of items stored inside the disabled loo that also had to be shifted out of the way by staff. There was no loo paper in there.

The gents’ was OK, apart from an off-putting build-up of grubby dirt around the outside of the urinals.

Over-all assessment - somewhat disapointing.
