Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

This Nandos is in Blackpool the party town of the north-west where kiss me quick hats, pubs and sticks of rock prevail. Going to this Nandos is certainly not a Party however! Based in the town centre just off the pedestrianised zone where the shopping area meets the pub area.

The store didn't look too bad with a corner aspect and large windows a red theme inside and what resembled a wicker wooden plank surf board on the ceiling. Several good quality art pieces are on the walls which also feature wicker fencing. There is a second level of seating in table style upstairs which was a lot bigger and also completely empty on our visit. The toilets upstairs could also do with a clean around where the skirting line would be in they had skirting boards.

Our food took a while to come out but when it did the chicken was burnt and over cooked, the chips were over cooked (or even twice/thrice cooked?) grease laden brown and hard definitely the worse chips I have ever had in Nandos and over taking Swansea my previous worst chip experience. Not an enjoyable meal at all not that anyone came to check on us. I suppose they assume as a holiday town it doesn't matter if they are rubbish as new customers come every week. Where as it matters more as for many this will be their first experience of the legendary Nandos and if its a bad experience will also be their last.
