Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

This was a spontaneous trip to Nando's because I was hungry, I managed to get my friend to cancel the pizza he'd ordered just in time, it was meant to be. I'd never been to this area before but my friend lived there and it was easy to get to from Hendon by train, just a few minutes' walk along the street from Borehamwood station

Food - 3/5 - The food was nothing special, I got my usual Butterfly chicken, extra hot, with peri-chips and garlic bread. It tasted just as I'd expect it to do, of course it always tastes better when you're incredibly hungry, but the chip portion wasn't huge, the garlic bread wasn't done exactly how I like it. Chicken was big and tasty though.

Speed of Service - 1/5 - I got seated immediatly when I arrived, on a round table, whilst I waited for my friend to arrive. We were told when we ordered that our food would take about 20 minutes because I'd ordered Butterfly and apparently they didn't have any ready, it was 9pm so I can understand that. I was incredibly hungry so it was a painful 25 minutes but we didn't complain. However there was a loud angry man on a table near us who kept talking very loudly about how his food still hadn't arrived, he got up to ask about it a few times and decided to leave twice, both times he ended up coming back... He was pretty annoying but I understand why he was angry, they weren't even that busy by that time so there was no excuse for the wait.

Friendliness of Staff - 4/5 - The staff were really friendly, they made it quite clear that the food would take a long time and made sure I didn't want to order anything else, thinking back on it I probably should have just got 1/2 chicken... But oh well. One bad thing though, they took my menus only a few minutes after I'd sat down, my friend still hadn't arrived yet so when he got there he had to order from memory! He's only been about 5 times now I think, but he impressed me with his knowledge of Nando's.

Decor - 3/5 - Nothing really stood out about the decor in this branch, it was just a typical Nando's.

It's possible that I'll return to this branch because it's close to where my friend lives and easy to get to.
