Bournemouth - Pompey Ranger Review
After a Hockey game in the area we decided to call into Bournemouth to hit it off our list. It's situated on the edge of a large out of town shopping centre. Being a saturday afternoon the traffic approaching was diabolical and we spent quite a while sat in queues. Upon arrival the car parking area imediatly in front has a height barrier so we had to head into the top deck parkig are which was an absolute nightmare bein shared with Asda, Argos, Sainsburies ect ect so ended up having to drive around for 10 minutes till we found a space.
Upon arrival our party of 5 was sat within 5 minutes and began to queue to order promptly. I redeemed a free quarter chicken with my quarter chicken meal but despite ordering first and having a simple order mine arrived last. This was further compounded by being given two legs which is a real bum wrap. Things can always be worse as 2 of my freinds who had decided to share a whole chicken platter were gutted that their chicken was raw and pink in the middle next to the bones so that they could only eat half of the chicken on their plate. It was even to the point i wouldn't eat it and I normally eat any chicken. My other 2 freinds were happy with their meals when they eventually turned up but they had gone for burgers and wraps. On a bright side the restraunt was bright and airey with large glass windows which give views across the shopping complex, Would have liked a bit more artwork and a few more booths. Toilets were neat, clean and easy to get to though the positioning of the hand dryer means you get hit when anyone opens the door. Due to the parking problems and the faults in the chicken i would probably hit the Poole store next time I'm in the area
