This is my usual eating hub for my family. On the 21st i was booked in for an op so we decided to take our kids to the movies n supper. Watched movie at Carnival City n was going to go to Ocean Basket. Then decided against it n went to our favourite hub. It was a Sunday evening, nandos was still open but empty. Staff initially didn't want to take our order as they said they busy cleaning up. Kitchen was still open though. Eventually took our order which was over R250 as we family of 5. We even opted to have it as take away so they could continue cleaning as it seemed like we were in their way. They said meal is done we can eat there as they not changing it to take away now. Food was so horrible. It was grilled with NO basting, was burnt some places, dry n terrible served on a plate where they put basting under the chicken, not even over it. Wedges were pasted with chille salt so much that you could only eat about 5 from the bottom. Rolls could not be buttered as we were given frozen butter. With experiencing this poor quality of food n pathetic customer service from the floor n kitchen staff, we asked for a take away bag, threw all the food into it and brought it home for my dog ... real meaning to doggy bag. On the way home my kids fell asleep in the car with no supper. Luckily for them that they had popcorn etc at the movies.
