After months and months of anticipation today was the grand opening of the new Braintree restaurant. Amongst my excitement for the new restaurant I had to be there at the opening of the restaurant at 11.00am (brunch?).

First impressions were that the restaurant was eagerly awaiting everybody on opening day, staff were very polite and welcoming. I happened to be the first official customer in the new restaurant with the wait time being around 10 minutes (having just opened that was to be expected!). With this being a late morning visit I could only manage to do a take-away however my extra hot half chicken, chips, garlic bread & Halumi was cooked beautifully well and as to Nando's standards (my personal favourite is Kings Cross so it had a lot to live up too!).

Overall the restaurant is very much welcomed to the area with the restaurant only a few minutes walk from the local freeport shopping villages where you can pick up good deals and next door to the cinema. Parking is also free and right outside the restaurant.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and a high five to all the staff for a successful opening! :)
