Brent Cross - maninblack Review
I've dined at this Nando's more than any other but it's not really that convenient. I don't know what it is about this place but it varies every time. There always seems to be lots of people, yet it's much worse at lunch time. The food quality has swung from excellent to dour, the service has been all over the spectrum too, it must be to do with the vast numbers of hungry clientele. Still, for a Nando's fix this is suitable, though for the more discerning connoisseur this is a branch best avoided.
On this particular occasion I had a mild bout of the peri-peri sweats. The chicken was tender but it felt as though the marinade had not seeped through, permeating it. The chips were basic, yet this is probably a very good thing because then you can just smother lashings of the sauce. There was a such a queue at the drinks section, and with too many people milling about, my meal was disturbed a plethora of times because there's barely any room between the tables, so I was knocked into.
Time for investment, or even expansion. After all, this seems to be the most popular restaurant in Brent Cross. I think this Nando's is frequented mostly by Nando's fans who don't eat at other Nando's. If they are that devoted, I would try elsewhere for a sublimated Nando's experience.
