Bridgwater - Ryan Review
This Nando's is on the mini-leisure park, Northgate, around the town centre. It's next door to a Scott Cinemas and Allstars Sports Bowl (bowling alley, shuffleboard, darts etc). It's just under 1 mile walk from Bridgwater train station. Northgate does have its own parking which charges Mon-Sat 9am-6pm £1.30/1hr, £2.20/2hrs, £3.30/3hrs and £4.40/4hrs (max stay) and is free outside these hours. There is an Aldi just a couple minutes walk away which gives 1 1/2 hours free parking during these times - so you could park there during the week daytime instead.
Arrived here around 5pm on a Tuesday and it was empty except for one table. It's not the biggest of Nando's. There are no booths and all the seating is in one big square. It's mostly made up of very large windows so while there are a few small canvas paintings dotted around, it's not the most colourful of Nando's. There's a big wooden structure hanging from the ceiling. The toilets are actually the most colourful part.
The staff were very friendly and the service was very quick with the food coming in less than 5 minutes. I had the churrasco burger and chips. The chip portion was large and were all very hot and crispy. The thighs on the burger were very succulent and juicy, if a tad thin. The garlic bun was perhaps just overdone as it had a lot of charring inside.
