Went yesterday for a lovely Sunday lunch to Nando's in Cabot circus, perfect hangover cure after a night of Halloween fun. Needed something nice, chickeny and spicy to get me through the day.
Restaurant was packed , seriously packed.. we managed to get a seat outside but to get inside the restaurant there was a queue of about 20 people .. No thanks!..
Fortunately the outside area was very well heated so even though it was a bitterly cold day I could still take my jacket off.. top marks!.
The chicken that came , was not the best. I normally give a bit of credit to Nandos when the place is full , especially when the food comes relatively quickly (which it did) but they are not charging any less for it so I am happy to be harsh.. It was quite dry , so I had to douse it in a bit more sauce then usual.
Another minor point is that when you are outside you have quite a walk to refill your drinks compared to most Nandos .. not ideal when you are hungover and have a burning hot mouth.
Chips and Halloumi were good , plenty of Peri-Peri salt on the chips, so credit where credits due as some branches tend to stinge you in the precious peri-peri Salt.
Also the staff were particularly friendly, when the restaurant is full they tend to be a bit more rushed and skip on some of the pleasantries, but everyone here seemed to be kind a friendly.
Overall , bar the chicken, good experience, and there is plenty to do in the area so we had a great afternoon of shopping to help digest.
