The 67th stop on our quest was Bromley, one of my most local Nando's, and one I'd never before visited.
Just across from the high street and shopping centre/parking, we arrived after work on a Tuesday to a hot, loud and disorganised restaurant. We asked if we could have a table closer to the back of the restaurant (which was considerably cooler and nicer-looking) but we're told we couldn't. There were no cocks on sticks to mark any of the tables, and a queue was growing whilst staff bickered. The music was turned up to a conversation-killing level, meaning that lots of people sitting near us were shouting at one-another. Added to the heat, not a great environment to be sitting down for a meal in.
The wait for the food to come out wasn't too long, and our group of 4 were all pretty much brought their food at the same time. The quality of the food was disappointing though. My half chicken was sub-standard. Very bland for extra hot. The chips were also disappointingly dry.
When a member of staff asked if we needed anything, I asked if I could get some mayonnaise. She said "yes" and walked off. She returned to the area and even the table several times, but never brought the mayo.
Overall a very lacklustre visit.
