This Nando's is in Pioneer Place, which is the newer bit of the existing Charter Walk Shopping Centre. Pioneer Place has a Reel cinema and Turf Moor is a 15 minute walk away. Burnley Central train station is a 5 minute walk away. Pioneer does offer its own parking priced Mon-Sat at £1.10/1hr, £1.70/2hrs, £2.20/3hrs, £5.90/3hrs+ but free parking after 5pm.
This Nando's is really bright but from lots of led lighting. There are some interesting multi-coloured circular shades at the front. Would expect a better mix of large seating towards with the cinema being next door.
Arrived here mid-afternoon on a damp Sunday and it was nearly full - which meant the food came in just under 15 minutes. I went for another half chicken, chips and rice. The chicken was hit and miss - one piece very juicy and meaty, the other dry. The rice portion was quite dry and a rather small portion. The chips were rather soggy.
Staff were pleasant enough but doing as expected.
