Camberley - Pompey Ranger Review
This store is part of the Atrium leisure complex in Camberley which has its own paid for multi storey car park, but if your arriving after 6 there is masses of free on road parking surrounding the centre. There is also a Bowling centre, Cinema and Gym along with other restaurants of a up market nature such as Bella Itallia and Prezzo. The store is in the middle of the centre so has no external areas, they have put a few tables out the front in the shopping centre, but who would want to sit outside in a noisy shopping centre. The front glass wall can also open up to bring the shopping centre into the store.
Inside it is a vast cavern, leaving space I suspect to install a mezzanine floor at a later date. The walls are appear to be wire combed concrete, either side is a wavey bench against the wall with pots placed behind where the wave brings the bench away from the wall, unfortunetly the pot behind me was uncomfortable when I leaned back. There were frequent big drift wood style branches placed along the wall too. The artwork here seems to have been reserved to alternating blocks on the ceiling along with wooden tiles.
The toilers are a trek upstairs past some good artwork on the way up, the cubicles are lined with "winebottle cork" print lino on walls and floor, whilst the main part is tiled with a pebble effect.
I had a bit of a wait for my chicken, and when it came out they brought a leg when I'd ordered a breast at the till so they took it back and I had about a further 10 minute wait. When it did come out it was ok chicken and ok chips and coleslaw.
The staff here are good at doing the checks if the food is ok, and also offering desserts at the end and this is the strength of this store getting the checks right.
