This new store is at Cambridge retail park, but not the normal Newmarket road entrance, but from Coldhams lane. Its the same car park but separated by bollards so you can walk through if you end up in the wrong one.
It is a wooden facia square building with a front patio area adjoining the car park fenced in with seating. Behind this full height windows let light into the store which has various art work , decorative tiles and leafy green shrubs. One corner of the outside of the store is green bushed with neon Nandos and cockeral sign.
The toilets were clean with yellow trim on mirrors. The store had a mix of seating and i got a corner table. The knive pots were empty and the forks were running low.
Major language barrier at the till and had real issues getting served, checking my account i discovered i hadn't been awarded a chilli, and my reciept didnt show my balance. I raised this with another member of stall but again had a major language disconnection so got no where till i spoke to the manager. She did put the point on my card, but if I wasn't so untrusting i wouldn't have checked and i would have left with out my chilli.
My chicken to their credit was very very good and moist and the chips were hot. They also gave me a round bar glass rather than the normal nandos glass and as it was smaller i had to go to get filled more often and difnt have the normal high quality feel. They also stuck my pet hate of kids on the table next to me and where they put the high chair so close to my table it blocked me in. The brat was throwing crayons and other rubbish onto my table and its parents were so lack lustre they let her till i didn't let them have the paper that hit my plate back at which point they moved the snotty brat to the other end of their table.
All in despite the very good chicken i wouldn't return here as service was a struggle.
