My last Nando's of 2014 was set to be a distinctly underwhelming one - before being saved by the food itself. The Camden branch is in between Chalk Farm and Camden Town stations (both Northern line, and closer to the former) and opposite a large Morrisons. It's quite a small branch and, despite being away from the busy high street and market area, is no doubt kept busy at all times. We walked in and all the tables on the lower floor were occupied and there wasn't even a Nandoca around. After a couple of minutes we were taken upstairs and the three of us were given quite a large round table (enough for 5-6 people).

Annoyingly, had to go back down to order and, upon reaching the head of the queue, the guy on the till inexplicably left and went to do, well, nothing. Probably the most annoying thing in the whole of retail when that happens. Eventually ordered food and headed upstairs (again, drinks machines are only downstairs - sauce/service stations on both levels). Food took quite a while to come but thankfully it was worth the wait. Butterfly burger, peri chips and halloumi were all cooked very well and I can't give that part of the meal anything other than a 5/5.

Later on in the meal, we saw a Nandoca bring a group of people upstairs - to only *then* see that there was no space, which was rather awkward for him. It's a tremendously clumsily laid out branch and it seems like the kind of thing that could be fixed relatively easily, which they hopefully will.
