Last time I was in here for a meal, Tinchy Stryder was on a date at the table behind us. No celebrities today however the staff still acted as if we were all famous.
Rocked up and was greeted straight away by Amel a really nice friendly Nandoca. Yes, I could have table 1 if I wanted, but no I don't need a menu thank you. Went to order but of course the cashier doesn't want to hear about my dental issues. No I don't want to use my orange reward so I ordered my usual quarter chicken mango and lime with peri chips and garlic bread.
Table one is by the window which opens out to the seating area outside. Plenty of people taking advantage of the good weather, tables for four with awnings to protect from rain. A lot of art in this branch hung on the walls and placed around as urns or pieces of wood. Where the sauce station is, is a huge circular window with empty sauce bottles inside the centre of the circle. A really unique piece.
Food arrived in 7 minutes and the chicken was visibly burnt again but this time there was more sauce on it, and it wasn't dry. There was plenty of chips and the garlic bread was great. Unfortunately I didn't get to eat the skin which is my favourite part because it was so burnt so that's why they get a 4 for the food.
The restaurant was clean, the staff are friendly and attentive and the food was 4/5.
