Camden - Elliott Review
RYNXXX, and Camden was the venue.
With this being my first Nando's for a month, I decided to go for the Churrasco Thigh burger mango and lime, with chips and coleslaw. The chicken thigh was rather nice, however as always with this burger, it disintegrated very quickly, so I ended up eating all the bits separately. The bun was alright, although fell apart quickly. There was an abundance of fino-slaw, which was also nice. The chips were not bad, could have been better.
The outlet itself is quite small. As you enter, there is a small seating area to the left, and till/grill taking up the right side and rear. There are some stairs to a seating area above the grill, which gets incredibly hot, and is rather cramped. This is sadly where we were sat, and made for an unpleasant stuffy experience. There's a small amount of Nando's artwork around the place. Upon this visit, there was 'normal' music playing rather than the Nando's soundtrack.
Although the outlet is called 'Camden' - it's actually closer to Chalk Farm station and away from what the 'visitor' would consider as Camden Town. Easy to reach from the Northern line Edgware branch, and many buses passing by. The Camden roundhouse venu is slightly opposite, along with many other eating and drinking establishments.
A fairly uneventful experience!
