FOOD: very full after this meal as I ordered chips. Amazingly, even though I said farewell to the hot pineapple at my last nandos, this chef had gone out of his way to make sure the pineapple was cut, quartered and grilled before being inserted into the pitta. the actual pitta was a slight disappointment on the spice front, barely scraping medium heat even after i added a helping of hot sauce. The temperature of the food was very high today, which I can only attribute to the discerning bankers who work in the canary wharf area. I tried my companion's prego steak roll which was very nice considering it was made from non-chicken 6.5/10
PLACE: Table 22 (eventually). Initially got sat at table 21 in the 'tables for 2' section on the right hand wall. Being the gentlemen I let the lady seat with her back to the wall. We discovered 2 downsides to this table, 1. It had a very slim booth seat due to a rogue pillar and 2. There is a very bright wall light blinding whoever sits opposite it. We asked to swap tables and we were put on table 7' in front of the only other wall light of the same design! I laughed and said 'the whole reason we want to move is to get away from that wall light!' Eventually she sat us on a table for four, number 22 which was right next to table 21! The actual place is nice and airy and has enormous booths for large parties. The ordering area is a little cramped and the clientele is a bit too bankery (see picture).I didn't use the toilet so no data on the airblade. 7/10
HOST: eunice served us at the till and the table! Rare. I liked the way she reseated us three times and I liked her name badge. She had made her name from peri-flag stickers and it looked fabulous 9/10
