PLACE: Table 10. Having conquered Cabot Place at the Wharf, it was time to try the overflow 'dos nearby. Not very impressed with the setting, a tiny 'straunt with most tables in the shopping centre corridor. No toilets either so don't expect to be listening to ear-pleasing South American music whilst you urinate, you have to make do with the shopping centre loos. I asked for table 10 as it was right next to the soft drink machine. I didn't even need to leave my seat to refill. Ice cold refreshment was just an arm's length away and takes the score up by 1 point- 2/10
HOST: Abel / Lindsay (two names on the receipt). Nice guy, laughed when I said "please can I order a free chicken with some accessories?" He said "accessorise her up". I really feel like he was on my wavelength- 8/10
FOOD: Fan-wholechicken-tastic. Lashings of sauce, 2 great oysters and a pitta construction to die for. I asked for the pineapple to be grilled, and that's what I got. Food more than made up for the bad dining arena. I gave a breast away to Jen but that was fine as there was more than enough meat left on the remaining tit. Sometimes I think the people who work in the underdog restaurants don't take customers for granted and really go out of their way to cook up something special. However, the side salad only had 3 tomatoes when I think it is supposed to have 4. 1 point deducted- 9/10
