I had my standard Nandos fare for when I'm testing out a new restaurant; half chicken with rice and coleslaw plus a side of halloumi. Food took quite some time to arrive, but we literally took the last table in the place, it was rammed! First the halloumi, it was cooked to perfection and for that they have my respect. Getting it from the grill to the table in time is an art! The rice was fantastic, fluffy and no clumps, and the coleslaw was as I expected (not that there's any variation between restaurants!). The chicken however was overcooked and dry. Great flavour though, they went to town on the peri-peri and it was properly smothered! Canary wharf is great for a quick turnaround, and so convenient for the undeground and DLR. will definately be back but probably off-peak.
