Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Having a need for a Nandos and not having been to this store before we decided to head here. What a MISTAKE!!!! Parking isn't close as it is in a shopping precinct but a short walk away on North lane there is a car park with fre parking after 7pm but a awkward one way system to get to.

Arriving at the store it looked ok from outside surrounded by taco bars and pubs well lit up a two storey store with 4 tables complete with chairs placed outside (though it was raining so doubt anyone would want to sit there).

A few tables were taken up by students but was quite empty so we thought we would be sat quick. How wrong could we be, we had to wait a while for a waitress, then wait a while before she would seat us. She grilled us about what we were going to order before she would let us in as they only had certain items made and weren't prepared to cook fresh.

We thought we would get our food quick since we were only allowed to order what was already cooked, wrong again, they made us wait!

When it arrived what a disappointment! My chips were cold which is more than could be said for my salad. The butterfly breast was dried out and burnt and a insult to any chicken. My freinds double filet pitta was more dried out than Gandi's sandels. Upon his complaint to the server her responce was that they had been on the side a long time so that is to be expected. Her attitude as though she thought he was being stupid for not expecting it to be inedible dry.

Then we realised why it was only students in there as you would have to be short of cash to want to eat it when it was that bad, or drunk to have any appreciation for the place or to tolerate the lack lustre attitude.

Decoration was nothing to write home about, the lampshades were twisel covered and so low we hit our heads when sitting down.

The toilets upstairs were dirty and had old blue dutch style tiles which i guess they thought gave it atmosphere which the rest of the store lacked.

Give this store a miss if you love Nandos! as my two friends who I brought here have failed to go to a Nandos with me since this experiance.
