Cardiff - St Davids - Gerry Louis Review
This was my second visit and luckily this time I could sit downstairs. It's nice that you can order upstairs but there's only one kitchen and your food is traversed across the restaurant.
Do not googlemap to get to this branch because it takes you all over the place. If you enter St David's from the end by John Lewis you'll find it very quickly! The walk made me hungrier I suppose.
Unlucky for some table number 13 was anything but unlucky! We were greeted by two cute, lovely young gents and chose this table near the counter and also near the kitchen!
It was only a 15 min wait for the food which was fine but it was only half worth the wait as the half chicken was too crispy, the wing burnt and there wasn't enough sauce on the chicken. They gave me plenty of mash which made up for the crispy wing and it tastes really nice on garlic bread with lemon and herb sauce.
So I can recommend this branch, friendly staff, good level of cleanliness and good service.
