Cardiff - St Davids - Pompey Ranger Review
This two storey store is on the upper level of the St Davids shopping centre near the cinema, whilst this area is open whilst the rest of the shops shut down in the evening you will have a bit of a hike to get to it around the outside of the centre is you approach from the wrong side like we did.
Upon arrival we were told to head up by ourselves to the top floor and await to be seated, which we did especially the waiting part even though we could see empty tables around us, even the playing with the cockerels in the draw ploy didn't work to get attention so we had a wait for a table.
The serving area for upstairs was good looking and in the round, though badly stocked as had to wait for them to go down to get our ciders from the lower area.
Waiting was a theme and we had to wait over half an hour for our houmous and pita to come out as a starter and a lot longer for our meals to come out. We had planned to come here for dinner prior to a night out, but by the time we had been served and eaten it had been our night out!!! The chicken was slightly more cooked than I would have liked, then again I would have liked it 40 minutes earlier. Talking of 40 minutes, that's how long I noticed they didn't have any knifes in the pot upstairs.
