Chatham - Elliott Review
A visit to Chatham Dockside, meant a trip to Nando's - my first for over a month. The outlet is located on the Dovkside leisure park, which includes a cinema, shopping precinct, Creams Ice Cream Parlour (yum!) and The Charles Dickens experience amongst other eating establishments.
Entered the outlet, which at 1130, wasn't very busy, and had a near enough free reign of the place. The server allowed us to pick our own table - so I chose one in the corner away from the big window. After pondering the menu, I went to order my meal. The process was very easy and slick, no hitches here.
The meal arrived after just over 10 minutes, and was quite good! I ordered chicken burger mango and lime with chips. The chicken was hot, with plenty of sauce. The chips were quite a generous portion, being light and fluffy in texture.
This is quite a nice outlet, being of the original Nando's designs. As you enter, the grill and till is against the back wall. The cutlery and sauce point, which was very well stocked, and drinks machines are also located here. To the left is a large open seating area, and on the far wall are a few booth style seats. To the right as you enter is a smaller seating area, and the toilets. There is a tiled floor, and quite a lot of Nando's artwork dotted around mainly pottery and orange/green in colour.
Overall, an okay visit. Food was nice, staff were very good, place was clean. It wasn't too busy when I visited, however I have seen it can get very busy on an evening.
