Cheltenham - Marc Joss Review
This was a nearly perfect Nando's! It should be said that the timing meant that fast service was always likely as only 2 or 3 other tables were in use when I ordered at around 4.30 after seeing The Hypochondriac at the Everyman Theatre which was great fun.
My 153rd different Nando's visit was memorable because the staff asked for a photo with me which I'm yet still yet to locate on social media but I was told it'd appear on an internal email among regional managers which is exciting! I truly felt like a Nando's celebrity.
My food beat me to the table and it was delicious. Spicy, saucy and piping hot. I can't give it a 5 because my girlfriend was not overjoyed with her food as her chicken was on the dry side. Otherwise this would have been a 5/5 on all counts.
Decor gets a five because of the wonderful human-size Barci that comes out of the wall just by the lavatorial services. It's a beauty! There are also some funky booths towards the back of the restaurant with a lovely mix of colours.
This was a great Nando's visit. Would Gloucester Nando's be able to compete on Friday? You bet it would!
