Chiswick - Pompey Ranger Review
Arriving in Chiswick high street in our minibus we knew finding parking would be a challenge. There is parking imediately infront of the store in a small layby but this was full the first 2 times we went past so trawled the neighbouring streets which are parking permit 9 - 6 mon - sat. We were then lucky to get a space and parking was £1 per half hour for max 2 hours.
The staff were very freindly when we walked in and chatted to us as they took us to our booth table midstore. Artwork is impressive with mixture of paintings and carving, store clean with tables at front around the till area and fold down soft seats at side for the waiting area. Booths down the middle of the elongated store next to serving hatch and then tables and booths on a raised area at back. Toilets are downstairs and are clean and spacious with tiled walls, round stone sinks and full height mirror.
Food was fast and fantastic spot on quality with good size chips with plenty of peri salt. It was the launch day of the new lemon and herb table sauce and whilst I was at till the manageress was unpacking the box with the new bottles in (I never realisd the bottles were delivered empty to be filled in store before!) I asked to try it and they brought me out a little bowl of it and it was good.
Very much liked this store
