Cobham - Services - Ryan Review
The day after Southgate comes Cobham. This was the last of the new Nando's to tick off, so roll on the next one... This Nando's is at the services off the M25 and so as with all services, gives you a couple of free hours parking and there are hundreds of parking spaces.
This Nando's is easily seen from the outside and lights up the services brightly compared with what used to be there. Inside it's a very well decorated Nando's as well - with lots of colour. The staircase up to the mezzanine floor has lots of bug chucnky coloured wooden carving all the way along it. Downstairs there's an interesting dividing wall made up of large matchsticks in a lattice pattern - and a few large multi-tiered chandeliers for lightshades. Toilets are the main services toilets. There are lots of booths to accommodate for lots of groups here.
I went for the chicken butterfly burger, chips and rice. A good size set of chicken breasts - thick and juicy and hot and moist. The chip and rice portion were both rather small - especially the rice portion. The chips were piping hot and crispy though but the rice was very dry and chewy.
There was abundance of staff and the food came in around 3 minutes - but all the staff were doing as expected.
