An absolute shocker of a trip to Brighton on Boxing Day was vastly improved by a rather unexpected Nando's on the way home! Cobham Services Nando's has been open since late 2017, but there is limited advertising on the M25, so if you happen to be heading to that stretch, make sure you stop off and get a peri-peri fix at this swanky new restaurant.
With high ceilings and colourful décor, this Nando's certainly stands out. There was also a lovely Christmas tree on display in honour of the festive season.
There were only a few other tables occupied and we ordered straight away. All the food arrived quickly and all four of us were pleased with our orders! I have to say it was a particularly spicy Nando's for me which is always enjoyable and far superior to the "extra hot" meals that somehow fail to deliver any sort of kick.
Manager Pedro and the rest of the staff were great and he explained how this is only the second Nando's in the UK that serves breakfast, following in the footsteps of Gatwick! Unfortunately we were too late to have it, but the breakfast menu is fantastic! Just reading the description of a chicken benedict was enough to make me salivate!
My chicken wrap was very tasty and a generous portion of single peri chips with a handsome helping of peri salt as t down a treat.
This was a cracking Nando's overall and a welcome addition to the M25. Hopefully we get to enjoy more Nando's at other services soon!
