I did not expect this branch to be that good, since it was just a random one in South London, but boy was I surprised! Firstly, it’s in a shopping retail park so there’s a huge car park with plenty of spaces, and I’m not sure but I think I saw a sign and the parking wasn’t that expensive (I forgot to take note since I don’t drive) The Nando’s is in a separate little bit of the retail park with just restaurants in, and it has its own car park there. So parking should be easy unless it’s really busy shopping hours! The nearest underground station is Colliers Wood near the bottom of the northern line, it’s only five minute walk if you turn left when coming out of the station and follow the main road up, Nando’s is easy to spot from far away as it has a huge red Nando’s sign.

The Décor in this branch was great! It was so clean, it had a nice little Christmas tree, it had lots of plants and cool curved wooden things across some of the wall, with the usual Nando’s pictures on the other bits of the walls. It has the awesome lights that a lot of branches have, circular and at different heights. The branch has a good layout, the till and kitchen is in the back left of the branch and all the tables are around it, it has a wide variety of tables, which are not too cramped so your personal space doesn’t feel invaded. My girlfriend and I were offered the choice of where we wanted to sit, so we chose a high table for four near the door, though I kept banging my head on the curved wooden thing on the wall because I’m stupid, The drinks machine with all the cutlery and sauces is in a good place in the centre of the restaurant so not too far to walk for drink top-ups. So yes, better than average décor so 4/5 for it!

The service at this branch was really good as well, we got seated immediately as we entered as I said we were offered the choice of wherever we wanted to sit, even though the restaurant was half full, and the greeter was nice and friendly. There was no queue to order at the till either, so got straight there and ordered! The Nandoca who served me was really polite and friendly, taking my order of butterfly chicken with peri-chips and garlic bread easily, stamping my loyalty card without looking sullen or reluctant as I had recently experienced in another branch, and telling me how much time it would take. We also got the usual “Is everything ok with your meal? Are you sure you don’t want anything else, more chips or anything?” But as usual the answer to that was no. We were offered deserts and on our way out one of the staff kindly wished us a good day and thanked us for our custom, lovely staff in this branch, So I’ll give them a 4/5 !

The speed of the service was pretty quick, it didn’t take as long as the Nandoca told me it would, it arrived in under 10 minutes and both me and my girlfriends meals arrived at the same times, no awkward waiting for the other persons meal to arrive. So a definite 4/5 for Speed.

The food was amazing, I really didn’t expect it to be this good, the chicken was cooked perfectly with no bits burnt and every bit of it edible and tasty, covered in extra-hot sauce, it was also a very large piece of chicken. The portion of chips was larger than I’d gotten used to at other branches! My girlfriend regretted getting two portions because there was so many, we struggled to eat them! The only small problem was that there wasn’t as much Peri-Peri spice on the chips as I would have liked, maybe they just do that so they don’t over-spice people? The garlic bread was hard and crispy, but delicious, some of the best garlic bread I’ve had for a while. This was some of the best food I’ve had since starting my Nando’s crusade across London I’ll give it 5/5, and I don’t do that often!

I’ll just add as well that they had plenty of sauces available, they even had Lemon and Herb bottles which I saw someone mention on the Facebook page recently? I’d never even noticed them before but this branch has them!

So overall, this branch was pretty epic. A gem of a Nando’s tucked away in the south of London. I’d highly recommend this branch if you’re in the south of London! I’ll probably be visiting it again since it’s so near my girlfriend. So average for my review comes out at 4.25/5 for this branch. It definitely had me coming out happy and full up. Go to this Nando’s! GREAT BRANCH.
