Colliers Wood - Anonymous Review

So I went to Nando’s Colliers Wood, on my birthday on the 15th of January 2020. It was very busy and only one 4-seater table free so the 5 of us said we would take it so we didn’t have to wait. After starting to look at our menus the staff had found us a chair for the end of the table so we didn’t have to be squashed up ( which we didn’t mind) but it was a lot better and nice of them. We then went to order and a lovely lady called Shannen served us. She was very patient as I can never make up my mind, she even said I can change the hotness of my wing roulette options because I was scared of picking up the hot one!! She kept nice conversation and told me about how lovely it was working at Nando’s when I said it looked like hard work but a fun job too! She also remembered talking to me on the phone without even mentioning it, as she remembered me asking about changing the ring roulette options! She was so helpful and genuinely wanted me to have a lovely birthday! So we went to get sauces, cutlery and drinks and the started had already arrived. The food came just in time for the starters to be finished! I take ages to eat so she even helped me out by melting a little butter sachet under the heat lamp on a plate so it was soft enough to spread it on my corn. I went and had another chat with her before I left to tell her how accommodating she was and she had another lovely conversation and wished me happy birthday again! Another man there also kept checking we was ok and had everything we needed but I can’t remember his name! I’ve never been in a Nando’s where staff have been so accommodating and helpful, they were friendly and happy and it was just a lovely environment to sit in, as I can’t stand it when staff just seem unhappy to be at work and unhappy to help! I would recommend Shannen 100% and really hope she gets credit for this review! Thank you so much for making my birthday lovely! We will be back soon! X
