Covent Garden - Gerry Louis Review
When I first got there, I thought the place was really small. I'd had to ask 2 people for directions as I don't know covent garden really well but once I found it, its not that bad to get there. Located on the corner of the road as you come out of covent garden square, you're better off using public transport to get there as there is hardly any parking.
I sat upstairs in the window, whilst others had to wait to be seated as the restaurant suddenly became really busy. I got there after 8pm before the rain started coming down.
The upstairs bar wasn't open so went downstairs, that's when I saw how huge the place was. I'd never heard of an underground Nando's before as most two teirs always go up! I discovered the wedges on the menu but decided to stick with the mash as I didn't get any at Staines this week gone.
The food came in average Nando's time and I was a little sad that they gave me two small plates on which to eat the food. And the food, hmm the mash was yummy, just right and portion size was great. The chicken wings were not saucy enough for me though but were still hot and tasted great.
I can recommend this restaurant if you're in the area but getting there from twickenham was a bit long tbh. Good service all round tho
