This new Nando’s is located on Rushmere Shopping Centre, which is home to large retail shops anchored by a large Sainsbury’s, which Nando’s is next door to. There are well over 1000 free parking spaces across the retail park. The nearest train stations are Lurgan and Portadown - both a 3 mile walk away.

On the walk up to the Nando’s, there’s a huge Barci clad on the outside. As you enter this Nando’s, there are six green leather square booths leading towards the back with a larger single square booth right at the back underneath copper piping with bulbs on the end of each tube for lighting. There are multi coloured wicker shades above the green booths and then spread around the edges are a mixture of tables and chairs with some dome lights and other wicker shades. Toilets at the back and were very clean, with a grey/white trinagular patterned wall.

Arrived here around 7:30, so was a little quiet and the food came in just under 10 minutes. The girl on the till told me “there’ll be a wee wait for the chicken there, so there will”, but came quick enough! :-D I went for the full platter and was able to make my favourite super side of chips with rice, coleslaw and supergrain all mixed in together. Delish! The supergrain was towering in the dish - a veritable mound, but the others were all standard sizes with the chips being a tad soggy. The whole chicken was a good size - and was piping hot and moist throughout and had a reasonable amount of sauce on it.

Staff were friendly and open to a bit of banter - and they were happy to keep coming and checking on me and have a wee chat.
