Croydon - George Street - Ryan Review
This Nando's is next to East Croydon train station. If you can't park in one of the many side street places around the area (priced Mon-Sun 8am-midnight at £1.20/hr) then parking is at a bit of a premium. The best value is the Croydon Park Hotel priced at £2/hr and just a few minutes walk away - you'll need to download/sign-up to parkbytext.
Arrived here just after 11am as it was opening, so it was very quiet. At the front by the entrance are three large brightly orange coloured booths, with huge bright orange wooden shades above them. The back wall is covered in lots of very small square paintings all joined together in a lattice pattern. Lots of natural daylight coming in. Toilets were very clean and tiled in green.
I went for a sunset burger and rice and it came in just over 10 minutes. The thigh fillets were a bit thin, as seems to be the case on the portion sizes now, but cooked nicely. The rice portion was an average size and was served hot.
Staff were pleasant enough and doing as expected.
