What an utter shambles, definitely in my top five worst Nando's list, I would not recommend this branch to anyone, feel sorry for the locals but they're probably used to it.

Got there at 7.50pm, opened the door into a queue. Is this a queue for a table or the queue to order? Took five minutes to get someone's attention to ask for a table, were given 14 in the cold, air conditioned, crammed back section, more on that later. Another six minutes waiting in the queue despite there being only two people ahead of me. So got served by Patrick, a very young, muscled guy, very cute if not a bit scatterbrained. Tried to tell me I couldn't order the sweet mash with my chicken, garlic bread and peri chips combo. Then when I asked for water, he pulled up this 5 litre bottle of Aqua Pura from under the counter, poured my drink, then another persons, then another persons, whilst my bank card sat where he placed it down. Water machine not working so they keep warm water under the counter, no ice either... Just great.

Sat down facing the entrance on a four seater table half way down the restaurant. One of the staff members came over asking if we needed the extra table to which we said yes as there were three of us. My friends starter of salsa thing turned up in about ten minutes whilst myself and Jackie waited, but it was another half an hour or 45 minutes til her main would arrive, this is after asking multiple times. Jackie's came in 18 minutes and mine arrived in 24 minutes, I think we all caught up on each other's lives within that time as there wasn't much to look at in this branch.

The food was already warm to start with but with the air con blasting at full power, those peri chips were cold within a short amount of time. They only brought out a quarter chicken with the meal despite me paying for a half chicken and all the staff were so surly it was embarrassing. A 90 minute journey for a terrible Nando's experience was definitely not a high light if my week, and on a Friday. Oh well you live and learn, but never again unless someone paid me. The toilets were just as bad, doors hard to open and no toilet paper, but was advised by Jackie to take some Nando's tissue with me. Then on the second visit, a pile of tissue was left there, probably by another customer. A nandoca did bring some but it's like she wanted to use the toilet with me after handing me the tissue. Get out!
