After a very tiring day a Nando's 10 minutes walk from my hotel couldn't have been more convenient! The menu has been enhanced quite a lot since my last UAE Nando's in 2018, with a whole selection of esperadas now on offer, and various other types of chicken if never seen before.
I mention the espetadas since I ended up choosing the Carnival espetada. This was 5 thighs stuffed with cream cheese and stacked with slices of grilled pepper. All very nice though by the end I was getting a bit over the cream cheese - I think next time I'll go for a different espetada. The sides were decent, with piping hot chips and a garlic bread covered with melted cheese. Not quite enough peri spice on the chips though, and the shaker on the table was blocked. I also got some perinaise which was much creamier than in the UK which wasn't to my preferred taste.
Decor was standard, with nothing much in particular to comment on.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly, proving table service works well here. At the end one of them asked me where I was from and then asked if I could take them back to London with me! I politely said I think Dubai might be a better place to live!
