Derby - Market Place - Marc Joss Review
An evening at Derby Guildhall to see Festival of the Spoken Nerd meant an afternoon in Derby which inevitably included a Nando's visit to the remaining establishment that I was yet to visit. Conveniently, this Nando's is located right opposite Guildhall right at the heart of the city centre.
It has a lovely glass front which allows plenty of natural light inside, although the interior is nothing to write home about. The chairs are quite old and a refurb wouldn't go amiss, although the lighting and artwork are up to the usual standard.
The staff were great and the Nandoca who served me was patient enough to go through all 6 of my Nando's cards to find the best one to use which ended up in a red reward being claimed! Another Nandoca gave us some tips on the local area, although there was not a huge amount on offer apart from shopping, cinema and bowling!
My chicken wrap was of a good standard, but not oustanding and could have been spicier. My sweet potato wedges with peri salt were delicious and the seeds went down well as always. I was kindly brought a top up once the initial portion had been disposed of!
This was a good Nando's visit in what was a very intense Nandventure-filled week!
