Dublin - Mary Street - Ryan Review
So in April this year, I finally branched out of the UK and visited my first "international" Nando's and it didn't disappoint!
I can't comment on the parking situation, but it is located in the busy City Centre, so would rate this as N/A.
Arrived here at 2pm on a Monday afternoon. It was pretty quiet, maybe only a third full, so no wait to be seated, to order - and the food came in 8 minutes.
The staff were very pleasant and could be seen talking to all customers throughout. Everyone in Dublin seems to be a tourist, so I guess plenty to talk about!
I was claiming a free whole chicken and also ordered a large rice and large chips. Whoa!! These were the biggest sides I have ever had. Easily the size of three (or more!) regular sides. The rice was also hot and moist and the chips hot and crispy. The chicken was also huge - piping hot, moist and smothered in sauce.
The decor and arrangement were also very good. A nice layout - with tables/chairs in the front full length windows and some high tables/chairs by the entrance as you go in. A booth in the middle of the restaurant with three further booths along the back wall. These three booths all of a wall lamp too. There is a mixture of a wicker style ceiling and wood panelled ceiling and multiple different light fittings - some made to look like gas lamps. There are a few colourful canvases dotted throughout with each of the full length windows also having a very bright shade to pull down if needed. Toilets were also fresh and spotless.
