Ealing - Common - Gerry Louis Review

This was my 2nd least favourite Nando's as they once made me wait an hour to get my chicken!! I wasn't even eating in as I hated that place but it turned out they had run out of chicken, this is going some years back so I always told everyone to avoid this branch. I won't anymore as it seems they have turned themselves around.
Outside this branch before it actually opened, it wasn't my plan to have Nando's for lunch. 11.32AM, 2 minutes late, a lady opens the door and lets me in. Bearing in mind I'm the first person in there that day, i still had to wait 15 minutes for the food, and they didn't give me my change back straight away. I had my usual half chicken, sweet mash and garlic bread, a new accompaniment to my meal, and the only thing i can complain about is the mash, as usual. it was hot and there was plenty of it but the way it was put in the serving bowl reminded me of school dinners. I could just imagine the 'slop' noise as it was put into the bowl. it was a bit chunky too. Not only that, the lemon and herb sauce bottle, the 2nd choice, had oil in the top of it that i nearly poured onto my food. the first bottle was put back as you could see the large deposit of oil on the top, filled so high it could be shaken, and you could see the line where new sauce was put on top of old. they should sort that out.
otherwise the meal was nice, standard delivery time and standard Nando's service.
