My first visit to the 2nd ever UK Nando's was rather pleasant on a tranquil Friday afternoon. As I walked in, I had the impression there had not been a refurb in a while (or ever) but that was not necessarily a problem as whoever did the original job did a good one in my opinion. Tables line the restaurant on either side with the counter straight ahead on the right and drinks station on the left. Lots of interesting artwork lines the walls and there is also further seating in the back which was changed when the restaurant moved from a principally take-away to a dine-in style.

I ordered my usual but with garlic bread instead of the second portion of peri chips and it arrived swiftly. No complaints over the portion size and the chicken was cooked perfectly, nicely charred and lots of sauce. The only slight criticism is the ungenerous peri salt distribution. All in all, well worth a visit.
