In 1992, this was one of the first two Nando's to open in the UK (the other was in Ealing). Twenty three years later, it remains a stalwart of the Earls Court Road, unflinching in the face of more recent openings in the area (Byron, GBK, Wagamama, Zizzi etc) whilst continuing to stare down an ageing KFC on the other side of the road.

This branch has recently been refurbished; the entrance door was moved to the side, resulting in a good waiting corridor, and minimal disruption to those already eating (the door was previously in the middle of the restaurant). There are approximately 7 or 8 tables in the front section, with a further 6 or so in the back section. NB: this remains a particularly small Nando's, and is likely to be of more interest to franchise historians than tables of 10.

Meal: Mango and Lime Butterfly, Peri-Peri Chips, Coleslaw + 1 x Sagras
