Once more I found myself at Edgware Nando's for some peri-loved dinner. I arrived before my cousin at 7.45 and was told I had to wait 10 mins for a table. The waiting area had full blast air conditioning on, and with the weather being 15C outside all it managed to do was give me a headache. A couple who arrived after me got seated before me which I couldn't understand.

I popped to the toilets to wash my hands and to my disappointment the floor was covered in water and created a terrible impression. To top it off the dryer wasn't working, it never seems to work whenever I come to this branch, I notified a member of staff and at least he went to check.

Once seated we quickly ordered: I ordered Houmous with Peri-drizzle & Pitta to share and a Large peri-peri chips with Portobello Mushroom & Halloumi wrap with cheese.

The pitta and houmous was delicious and we were just finishing off the last pieces when the mains arrive. The peri peri chips had a generous dollop of peri peri salt over them and the halloumi wrap was adequately filled with mush and veg.

We wolfed down the food and I can't find much fault, we had a lot leftover and the double chips portion seems a lot more reasonable than the amount given for a single portion. My cousin couldn't finish her food! We left content and satisfied.

The restaurant does look pretty bland in comparison with other Nandos and could do with a makeover - something for the management to think about.

Over and out
