Arrived here at 12 to catch up with a friend who I hadn't seen all summer - and he was paying! I was so excited. I ordered a Hot Butterfly Chicken with Peri Chips and Spicy Rice and a soft drink. I also added at the end I would like some mayonnaise brought to my table.
10-15 minutes later my food arrived and I couldn't believe what I saw. The Butterfly Chicken was so small I would confidently say this was the smallest meal I had ever been served in a Nandos after 50+ visits. The chicken was also burnt. I was ready to complain after a few seconds but before that I asked for some mayonnaise to be brought to the table, as I had requested at the counter. The waitress Talita barked at me 'You're supposed to ask when you order, not now'. In no uncertain terms I told her I had done this. Her unprofessionalism further spoiled what was already an extremely disappointing Nandos meal.
And is it me or do the Peri Chips portions seem to be getting smaller with every visit?
