This store is situated on a new development close to the city centre and benefits from having under ground parking which makes the most of its environs and means there is parking immediately outside without effecting the view. The store is placed between a casino and a bowlplex and is a few doors down from a cinema making it a one stop destination for leisure.
There is a double door lobby as you enter which is essential considering the Scottish winds and weather. I was able to be seated immediately with a choice of seats by a friendly staff member. As you enter the door there are high table and high chairs just to the left of the lobby and a route direct to the till area which has waiting benches backing onto a waist height which provides separation and a back to a soft bench that curves round with tables, then there are stand alone tables in the middle and the right wall has booths along its length each separated by a high wall and object d'art and could take 4-6 people on soft benches.
The store is truly blinged up with art work and there were some really special pieces, I really liked the bead work picture of Capetown and table top mountain near the entrance. The front of store has curving full height glass windows with decorative roller blinds.
Food was quite quick, chicken was well cooked and like all Scottish stores larger than its English counterparts, dripping in sauce. I also tried the sweet potato mash for the first time and was impressed plus it came in a large bowl, where as when I have tried fino sides before have been disappointed with portion size where as today I definitely wasn't. The waitress was friendly and came back to check my meal was ok promptly. The sauces and beverage machine were at the back of the store by the toilets, all of which were clean and on the same level.
Good level of lighting and whilst music was barely noticeable out the front it was pumped up out the back, an advantage I could perceive if someone has been on the Luso beans!
Really liked this store and would happily recommend it.
