I went along to Nandos with my little sister. It was Friday and my mood was off so we went along to have our favourite food and have a rant session. We got served by a lovely kind gentleman. I requested for a grilled chicken wrap and he confirmed there was no chicken left for the wraps. That wasn’t a great start for me. It put me off and I only ended up ordering humus starters and peri peri chips. My sister kept convincing me to get wings or something else but I was looking forward to it all day and was disheartened. While we were getting served one off the worker who was Asian overheard us at the till.
We went and sat down and 15 minutes later she came over with 3 full meals untouched. She kindly introduced herself as Maryam. She said she heard us at the till and had 3 meals orders that where going to waste as the customers hadn’t turned up. She gave us them for free. I was in complete shock and blown away by there kind generosity. She even helped to pack the food and said it only made sense we had it as I wanted chicken but they had no chicken left to make.
So basically my huge long story is to pass on a massive THANK YOU to the team at Ocean Terminal Nandos for there kindness and big heart and fabulous service. Can you please pass this message onto Maryam for her excellent customer service skills and showing us that good people do exist. She was so kind and down to earth and served us with a smile. So did the gentleman but unfortunately we didn’t catch his name!
Our love for Nandos is forever and always xxxx
