I went to this branch for a late lunch, about 3pm. It’s pretty easy to find from Elephant and Castle tube station, easy to see, but hard to get too. It’s on the other side of a huge roundabout which is seemingly impassable, me and my girlfriend nearly went the wrong way before we realised there was a big subway going under the roundabout, once we found that it was easy to get to. As for nearby things, there’s a market and a shopping mall, though I’m informed that it’s a rubbish shopping mall, and the market is pretty rubbish too, not a very nice area of London.

When we arrived the branch was nearly full, but we were seated immediately onto a nice table for two near the front window, we were so glad they didn't cram us on a different table for two which was closer to the entrance, but we would have been right next to some other people, so I was grateful for that. The person that greeted us was nice and friendly, explained how to order even though I told him I'd been before. There was one person in the queue when we went to order and I got served in no time, the guy serving me was lovely and was happy to change my order when I forgot to ask for peri-chips. Friendliness of staff 3/5.

The food took about 10 minutes, it was awkward when he brought it over because my girlfriend had ordered so much food for herself he though one of the meals was for me, I had to tell him they were both hers and embarrass her (I found it pretty funny though). Speed of service 3/5.

The food was really good, better than I expected it to be; my extra hot butterfly chicken was huge and was drenched in sauce. They had plenty of extra extra hot bottles so no complaints there. The garlic bread was cooked just the way I like it, slightly burnt and crispy. The portion of chips was pretty big but I was extra hungry so I still wanted more after, so I stole some of my girlfriend’s massive horde. Only complaint I have was the drinks machine, it kept spraying coke all over my hands when I used it. Food a definite 4/5 !!!

The decor was ok... But the dark wood ceiling and the blinds being down slightly left the room feeling dark and dull, nothing special really stood out, and the dullness drained the atmosphere slightly. I'll give the decor 3/5.

Overall, what really matters to me is the food, and since it was delicious, I'll say I enjoyed this branch! Don't much fancy returning to this area of London though.
