Enfield - Town - Gerry Louis Review
This Nando's branch has gone straight into my top 5. The service was amazing, the staff are efficient and helpful, the food tastes great and the branch is well lit and decorated well.
Got there about 3pm, it's about 2 minutes walk from the overground station and easy to find. Danika was at the door to greet me straight away, gave me table 7 by the front window, took my order straight away too going behind the til and was just generally being nice and pleasant. By the time I got my cutlery, water and tissues, sat down and removed my outer coat and bag and tagged myself in the branch she brought my food over. 3 minutes!!
The food was piping hot, the sweet mash plentiful to which Danika gushed it was her favourite item on the menu. The chicken leg was smothered in sauce and the garlic bread was toasted to perfection. The bread was larger as well which is always nice when you feel like you're actually being fed. The chicken leg was delicious and cooked well too.
The layout downstairs is quite small, a few scattered tables for 2, 3, & 4 seater patrons . A girl came and opened the window out to chairs in the exterior but it was a little breezy and some flies came in. The young guy that came to take my plates was helpful when I asked for directions to the other branch. On going to the loos I discovered a 2nd floor and a mini 3rd floor upstairs with another set of drinks and separate sauce/ cutlery station so the branch was a lot bigger than I had originally thought.
The toilets... were very clean, the cubicles and the sink area, but the outer doors were heavy and the cubicle doors are tight to get into. I would definitely recommend this branch to anyone but it is in a good part of town and steadily got busier during the time I was there. There's a decoration as you enter the branch which reminded me of a chicken kebab and all around especially upstairs there were paintings. Great branch.
