Epsom - Gerry Louis Review
First Nando's of the day is less than five min walk from Epsom overground, you can see the branch as you pull into the station. The place was packed and there was a ten minute wait for a table in this small branch with only two rows of seating, booths down the middle for groups and tables round the edges for twos or fours.
Table 18/19 was in the corner on the far side away from the tills by the toilet, which you could smell every time someone came in or out. The rubber thing on the door jamb also rubbed my arm every time the door opened and closed. It was a bad table but at least it wasn't in the middle so you're surrounded by other guests.
1/4 chicken mango and lime with garlic bread and peri chips arrived in ten minutes but there wasn't much peri salt given on the chips and the chicken was still a little pink inside. There wasn't much sauce on the chicken leg either and it was a very small piece.
The staff were friendly and it's a very clean restaurant. Decoration wise there are plenty of pictures to look at on the walls and the ceiling design is a nice work of art. There are a lot of lights staged down the centre of the branch but they've done an incomplete looking ceiling from one side to the other. The yellow walls keep the branch bright and welcoming.
