The first thing I noticed about this new Nando's was its proximity to both the underground and overground stations. You can get the hammersmith and city, metropolitan or circle line to Farringdon. the Nando's is located to the left if you're coming out of the underground station and the right if you are coming out of the overground station. So, the location was great.
The first thing I noticed about the interior was a large space by the window of stools facing the wall. It seemed like a good idea for city workers who wanted to grab a quick solo Nando's but I can't help but think they could have utilised the space better.
Nevertheless, we were greeted by a Nandoca who was very friendly and have us the choice of sitting upstairs or in the basement below. We chose to sit downstairs as it was empty and it would be cool to check it out. I took a picture of the whole downstairs which I'll try and attach after. It was again, poorly laid out in my opinion, there were two large tables at either end which could seat 15-20, which would be ideal for a RYN reviewer event! We were situated at a table which was next to all the condiments and cutlery. This meant people had to reach around us to get theirs which was awkward an a really amateur table placement.
The food arrived soon after we arrived as it wasn't too busy. I ordered a butterfly chicken which was a little bit burnt but still tasty. Halloumi was great as usual and chips were tasty too.
Overall it's worth a visit to the branch, I wouldn't rush back but I'd definitely pop in if I was on my own and craving a quick Nando's!
