We phoned ahead of going as there were 13 of us and as we were arriving at 3:30 it shouldn't be a problem. The store is on the edge of a new development with it's own car park at the rear charging £1.50 for 2 hours and 3 hours for £2. There are a wide range of high street shops and banks with Iceland and Asda along side Halifax and Poundland. The store is quite bright with windows along 2 sides and a fair amount of Artwork on the walls. The toilets are behind the service area and clean and tidy.

We were all sat together but when we ordered they did take a while opening up a second till and one of the staff members did seem to have a bit of a language issue. The Nandos loyalty card system was down which was infuriating as several of us (myself included) had rewards we wished to claim and since it was a celebratory meal we had planned we were willing to use them. The staff didn't really explain the system was down and just said you can't redeem at the end of the order despite having said at the start I wanted the whole chicken off my card and at first I thought they were trying to tell me there was nothing on my card. One of my friends had major problems with getting them to explain why they couldn't get their order and I had to step in and lend them an old paper card once I told them what was going on as they had only brought enough money for their meal planning to redeem half a chicken. Very lucky I still have a wad of old cards in my wallet! One member of staff was being pedantic on the card order telling my friend that they couldn't use the paper card as they were 10p under the required spend (where as the new card they have had the chicken and there is no minimum spend to redeem previously earnt rewards, I ordered a 10p extra peri sprinkle to resolve the issue and bring the price up.

Food did come out quite quick considering the number of us ordering at once and apart from a couple of people having burgers we all had our food quickly. It was ok food, the Chip portions were very good, big and hot and spot on, the salads and other sides were also good and the Houmous was very good. Some chicken was a little bit dry and long cooked but most was very good. I was just annoyed from the being served ordeal which did put me on a downer, but the waitress who brought the food over was very friendly and helpful.

We all enjoyed our dinner and liked the food, but Nandos need to have a plan when their system goes down and also to tell people before they order that the system is down.
