Feltham - Gerry Louis Review
We literally parked within 5 minutes after leaving the Cinema Complex, almost outside the front door of Nando's which was especially great as the weather looked for turning and it did.
We were able to select our own seats as the restaurant was not that packed, and the guests were fairly spread out.
This was my friend Richard's first time to Nando's Feltham branch but it's one of my locals so I know the layout of the restaurant and that they normally keep it looking good. There was a bit of a wait in the queue to take our order as staff kept disappearing when a guests order was taken.
We shared a whole chicken, mango and lime with sweet mash. When the chicken arrived it was smothered in sauce, juicy not dry or burnt and fully cooked through. The mash I was not so happy with as the portion sizes were quite small. The plate I did chose had chunks of hard potato and it was slightly warm.
They may have had staffing issues as it was very quiet, and no one came to check that the meal was okay the whole time we were in there. As we were leaving, there was a table with a bottle of spray and a cloth left on it by a member of staff who found something else to do, and they also did not say goodbye to us as is normal custom.
I'll still go back there as it is close to the cinema, arcades and bowling alley, and it is my local, but sometimes the service in there is a little dire.
